This is Jake! He is a Senior at Desert Oasis High School! Jake has an amazing personality, is always helpful and kind to those around him. He has a love for sports and has played almost all of them at some point. Most recently, he lettered in varsity volleyball. Jake is a huge Steelers fan and what a great year it has been for his favorite team. Best of luck to you Jake and I know you’ll succeed in anything you set your mind to! Congratulations!!!
Mt. Charleston is one of my favorite places to shoot portraits. There is such a wide variety of places to go with amazing backdrops! This family session was so much fun but also bittersweet as the Curtis family is moving out of Nevada sometime this year. I have been photographing this family for the past 3 years and have loved each session but this particular session was extra special to me as it may be one of our last sessions before they move. Over the past few years, Lynsie and Blake have become our close friends and their sons, Braden and Noah, are best buds with my boys. I feel so blessed to have gotten to share life with this family while they have been in Las Vegas! I guess I am going to have to travel to Washington DC next fall to take their photos there!
I met Autumn and Jason this past fall through Choice center. I was initially drawn to Autumn because of her passion for breastfeeding. As it turns out, we have a lot more than that in common and we live down the street from each other. Autumn and Jason wanted a session out at the Dry Lake bed but unfortunately the wind was so strong that day that we had to change our location to the Wetlands. I think their session turned out amazing and hope they love their portraits as much as I do!
Justina happens to be one of my favorite kindergarten teachers! She was my son Max’s teacher last year and really, what is not to love about her! She is such an amazing teacher but is also a beautiful person inside and out! I feel lucky that I was able to photograph her and her daughter as well as her sister’s family the day before Thanksgiving at Floyd Lamb Park! I have so much to be thankful for and one is knowing her and calling her my friend!
I met Mathieu through our Choice Center Personal Development Leadership course this fall. Mathieu and his daughter had never had a photo shoot done together and he had wanted to do this for his daughter for Christmas. The winter light in the desert was stunning and I love how their images turned out! The desert in winter is one of my favorite places to take photos as the lighting and backdrop are just beautiful. Can’t wait till our next session!
